November 24

Science: Students wrote their quiz on topics 1-3 to finish off the week. They will need to hand in their topic 1-3 note packages on Monday if they did not do it today. We will begin topic 4 on Monday.

November 21

Science: We are currently finishing up topic 3 from unit 3. We will be finished the section on Tuesday or Wednesday and students can expect a quiz on Wednesday this week.Their note packages, 'Putting Thermal Energy to Work' worksheet and their practice quiz will be collected at the time of their test.

November 10

Science: Students have finished topic 1 and are most of the way through topic 2 in unit 3, Heat and Temperature. Everything previously assigned has been marked and is on Power School.

November 3

Science: Students wrote their unit 1 exam today. We will be starting unit 3 next week. Students need to hand in their topic 6-7 note package, their endangered species bio and the wrap-up questions from page 79 for grading. The unit 1 review questions (odd questions only omitting 19 and 23) from page 84-87 will be a bonus mark for students who complete them.

October 26

Science 7: Students have completed topic 6 from unit 1. We will be finished topic 7 by Halloween. Students can expect a unit exam on Friday November 3 covering everything we have learned this year. Topic 6-7 note packages and Endanger Species Bios need to be handed in at that time as well.

October 16

Science: Students will be writing their Topic 4-5 Quiz on Tuesday(7C) and Wednesday(7E) this week. Their food webs and note packages will need to be handed in as well. Marks will be going on Power School once the Topic 4-5 tests and food webs have been marked.

October 6

Science 7: We have completed topic 4 from unit one and have begun topic 5. Food Web projects will be due on Wednesday next week. Students may want to finish these off over the weekend so that I can give them some areas of improvement in the last class before they are submitted.
All collected marks will be going onto Power School after the Food Webs have been graded.
