April 18

Science 7: We are currently finishing up Topic 5 from Unit 5. Topic review questions should be completed by tomorrow and we will begin g Topic 6 tomorrow. There will be a quiz on Topic 4-7 at the end of next week, April 26.

April 3

Science 7:
We will be completing Topic 3 from Unit 5 on Thursday. Students can expect a quiz for Topic 1-3 on Friday.

March 15

Science: We are currently in the process of completing topic 2 from unit 5. Students need to complete the vocabulary crossword for Monday. They can expect a quiz on topic 1-3 on Thursday next week.

March 5

Science 7: We will be finishing unit 4 this week and students can expect a test on Thursday this week. Note packages for topics 3-5 and 6-7 will need to be handed in at that time.

February 6

Science: Students need to hand in their write-ups for their structures projects as well as the projects themselves. We are currently working on constructing a golf ball bridge in class and they will be test their bridges on Tuesday after the long weekend. There will be a quiz on topics 3-5 on Thursday or Friday next week.

January 25

Science 7: Students just completed their topic 1-2 quiz from unit 4. They will need to hand in their topic 1-2 note packages with their wrap-up questions from page 297 of the textbook.
Their Structures project will be due on February 1 and instructions can be found on google classroom. This project will be used as our midpoint assessment and will have a significant impact on their grade.

January 11, 2018

Science: Unit 3 has been completed and the exam have been reviewed. This week we have begun Unit 4 and are currently wrapping up topic 1. Students have also been given the required information for their structure project which will be due January 30. This project is their midpoint assessment and is worth 10% of their grade. It is important that they put some time and effort into the project. They will be given time to do the written portion of the assignment in class but building the structure will need to be completed at home.
