Social 7: Chapter 2 test will be on Friday. Students need to have their chapter 2 booklets completed for then. Their France Expands it Empire project will be collect on Friday as well.

Oct 27

Social 7: Students need to be completed up to the France Expands its Empire Project in their chapter 2 booklets.

October 22

Social 7: Students should be completed the chapter 2 vocabulary from The French in North America booklet. Chapter one tests have been put onto Power School and students are welcome to rewrite if they choose.

October 16

Social: We have just finished up our chapter one test. Students need to hand in their Aboriginal Societies booklets. We will begin chapter 2 on Monday.

October 9

Social 7: Students will have finished their presentations on the First Nation group they selected. Chapter one is now finished and they can expect a test on that material once we return from the long weekend. Their chapter one booklets will need to be completed.
We will be holding a student vote on Thursday next week in preparation for the upcoming federal election.

October 1

Social 7: Students are working on the Infomercial projects and they will have the rest of the week to complete these. They will be presenting these on Monday.

September 28

Social 7:  We finished everything up to and including Voices and Visions, 'Getting to know your Text' (Pg 10-13) ,from their chapter 1 booklet.  I went over the crossword with them today in class.
